Spotlight: Experimentelles Heften und Falzen In diesem Workshop probieren wir verschiedene Arten des Buchbindens und Falzens aus. Zum Aufwärmen der „Sternfalz“, danach das Leporello, eine Streckung und mehreren Versionen der Rückstichheftung. Am Ende erstellen wir einen Kartonschuber, in dem die vielen Hefte gesammelt werden können. Die Techniken sind alle geeignet für das Arbeiten mit Kindern in Schule und Hort.

Spotlight: Experimental stitching & folding
In this workshop, we will try out different types of bookbinding and folding. We will warm up with the zinefold, followed by the fanfold and several versions of saddle stitching. At the end we will create a cardboard slipcase in which the many booklets can be collected. The techniques are all ideal for working with children in schools and after-school care centers.
Kosten/Cost:
65 Euro + 5 Euro (Materialkosten / Material fee)

Leiterin / Instructor
Lea Giesecke is a graphic designer with a focus on print. She loves working with paper and gives bookbinding workshops. During her master's degree, she dealt intensively with the haptic experience of books, resulting in the BookBindingKit (BuchBauKasten) - a poster and cards with detailed information about bookbinding techniques.
